Thailand's landmarks since the first light of the morning reflect off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence. The location of Sukhothai is near to the modern city of Sukhothai, the capital city of Sukhothai province. The literal meaning of Sukhothai is "Dawn of Happiness". The region clearly justifies the name given to it because from this time onwards Buddhist cultures were flourished. The Buddhist art was localized and spread out nearby places.
